Dr. Jamie Rheeder

A seasoned facilitator, cleric and certified spiritual advisor with more than 36 years of devoted practice -and an accredited family mediator who believes every household deserves a resolution process that honours its own journey.

Dr. Rheeder led communities in Heidelberg and Pietermaritzburg, delivering dedicated pastoral support, dispute management, conflict resolution and leadership while fostering local engagement. That grounding -decades of sitting with families at their most difficult moments -is what he brings to the mediation table.

How he works

Impartial, unhurried, and completely confidential

As a qualified expert, Dr. Rheeder upholds total impartiality -making sure every voice is heard and valued, and that neither party is talked over or pushed toward an outcome. His background equips him to manage the sensitive emotional and financial layers of separation with professional ethics and calm.

  • Both languages. Sessions in English or Afrikaans, whichever you think in.
  • Both formats. In person across Gauteng, or by video call anywhere in South Africa.
  • Child-centred. Children are protected from the conflict, never drawn into it.
  • Without prejudice. Nothing discussed in mediation can be used against you later.

Our work is rooted in genuine empathy and ethical standards, so that the end of a marriage is handled as thoughtfully and calmly as it can be.
